Free genealogy workshop presented by the DAR

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., a FREE genealogy workshop will be presented by The Eli Skinner Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). The workshop will be conducted in partnership with the Palatine Library, 700 North Court, Palatine. The workshop will be designed to accommodate all experience levels of genealogists. Chapter members will be available to provide attendees with personalized assistance. A presentation by volunteer field genealogists will highlight the free digital resources on the NSDAR website. Tips and tricks on how to use FamilySearch and Ancestry.com, as well as the NSDAR lineage database will be the focus. The national society’s rich resources include more than 7 million proven family trees and access to thousands of digitized library books.
