North Webster Library – Celebrate Presidents Day with Family Bingo –

NORTH WEBSTER — Kids can celebrate Presidents Day and days off from school with a family bingo at the North Webster Community Public Library at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 21.

It’s fun and easy to play for kids of all ages with plenty of prizes for everyone. Several rounds are played, each round lasting until everyone bingo and win a prize.

Preschool story time

Bring the little ones back to the library at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for preschool story time. Children, ages 3 to 6, learn through stories, songs and a take-home craft. Preschool story time takes place every Wednesday until March 30.

Free movie night

Give the whole family a free night at the cinema at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, when the Youth Department presents an animated live-action comedy from 2014 about a marmalade-loving Peruvian bear who travels to London in search of a home. . The film is rated PG and is 95 minutes long. Free snacks are included and families are welcome to bring their own drinks.

Takeaway crafts

When you’re at the youth department, be sure to pick up a craft to go that includes supplies and instructions. When finished, post a photo of your child and their craft on the library’s Facebook page or email it to Ms. Pam at [email protected]and your child will be entered into a raffle for a free children’s book.

New Arrivals

In the adult services section, new titles arrive daily. Newcomers, fiction and non-fiction, are displayed on a freestanding bookcase for easy reading. The Local History and Genealogy Department continues to add genealogical histories of local families to its collection. If your family has roots in the North Webster and you want to explore your family’s past, you may find that much of the research has been done for you.

Anyone who has a complete family history that they are willing to donate, the library will add to the collection.
