Thea Anderson Obituary (1935 – 2022) – Orem, UT

Thea L. Anderson, daughter of Angus and Estelle Langford. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away February 6, 2022.
Thea was born on September 10, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT. She grew up in Garfield, UT, on the church farm run by her father. Thea enjoyed helping her mother with her younger siblings as she grew up. She graduated from Garfield High School, attended LDS Business College, and BYU earned a degree in genealogy research. She met her husband Marvin, a sailor, and they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on January 28, 1955. They just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.
She enjoyed playing the piano, family history, cooking, canning, family gatherings, being with family, and helping her children with their many businesses. Thea has held many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and Marvin then served a mission in New Hampshire where they were tasked with gathering many names for genealogical work.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Leroy and Robert Langford. She is survived by her beloved husband Marvin, her sister Laurel Mayfield, her brother James Langford, her sons Michael Anderson, David (Anita) Anderson, her daughters Lisa (Charlie) Campbell, Colleen (Paul) Mulliner, her son Keith Anderson, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. .

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends can call the morgue on Thursday, February 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. before services.
