Beloved Tina Marie Jackman, (Godás Hummingbird) 65, of Logan, Utah, died in Logan on Friday, October 28, 2022 following a car accident.
Tina Marie was born at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah on January 30, 1957 to Eugene (Gene) and Zola Dickey Jackman.
Tina is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Orem High School and LDS Seminary, class of 1974.
She loved to explore and be her unique, creative self.
She married Steve Swensen in The Manti Temple. They were blessed with Nissa, Gini, Andrea and Jewely. They were divorced. Later she had Erica.
She married Jeff Shephard. They were divorced.
Tina enjoyed working with and serving children and adults. She earned her associate degree from Utah Valley University in Child Development and became a CNA.
She loved to work and serve people. She owned “Junk in My Trunk” 2nd-Hand Store.
Her dad gave her the nickname “My Little Tumbleweed” because of her love of travel and spontaneity. His passions are faith in our Savior, his family, temple attendance, and family history.
Her children are Nissa Hanegan (Ryan), Gini Hardison (Brandon), Andrea (Paul) Raaska, Jewely Swensen (Jeff Larson) and Erica Jackman.
His in-laws are Helen Peterson Jackman, Jerry Taylor and Dan Mitchell.
His siblings are Norene (Chris) Jensen, Bret (Tiffani) Jackman, Gerald (Tiffany) Taylor, Rodger (Cheryl) Taylor, Cindy Taylor (Mike) Peterson and Lonny Taylor (Destiny), John Jackman and Adam Jackman.
His grandchildren are Keith and Bailey Hanegan, Chris, Lestat and Ozzy Hardison, Michael, Wyatt and Jameson Raaska, Freyja Sequoia Farris and Jeff Larson and Jewely’s daughter due March 2023.
Tina is a woman of great advice. She is devout in her faith and her love. She is a staunch supporter of her family. She is empathetic and compassionate. She has an infectious smile.
She loved Senior Citizens, DUP and Red Hat Society. She is a close friend of Bill W., supporting others. Along with her family, she loved the outdoors.
She is predeceased by her father, Gene Jackman, her mother, Zola Mitchell, her stepfathers Jerry Taylor and Dan Mitchell, and her siblings, John Jackman, Cindy Taylor Peterson and Lonny Taylor.
The memorial service for Tina will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with a muster before 2:00 p.m. conducted at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah, 84321.
